We know what you know. The warehouse where most record companies store
a copy of every published LP, CD or master reels is not a proper
archive. We agree that saving files to hard drives is not safe or
acceptable. We also share the concern that the reel tapes, DATs etc.
historical material is becoming more brittle every day and will be
destroyed and lost over time. Once gone it may never be re-vitalized
or re-used again.

Diginord has helped over 100 customers during the last 10 years to
save their historical catalogs and store them into a modern IPR
management system. We have seen dusty cardboard boxes, burned tapes,
ash on DAT tapes, mold on records, extended reel tapes, found
additional tracks and versions nobody knew, listened to band members
arguing in the studio, etc. etc.
